Stand Your Ground

If you can prove that he's frightened you, you can kill him. 

In Florida State, you're supposed to stand your ground  

And stop danger.  

In other states, you run 

But we all get away.

I believe

They say you can only fall once; 

If you hit your head, you can never bounce 

Back up or get over the flight; 

It's meant to last.  

I cannot understand how 

I fell and felt like I touched aether, 

But I miss it.

What happen when we die 

Ants, worms, and time take us to places.  

For all we know, you might fertilize an orange, 

Raise the river's level, and/or be carried by a bird.  

If this body is you, we are all here forever. 

Dance, eat, and merry; we are not going anywhere anyway.
